The COW Level!: To get to the cow level that is
famous in the first Diablo you must aquire Wirt's Leg
which you find on Wirt's body in Tristram. Beat the game
on Nightmare difficulty (otherwise it won't work)
and then place Wirt's Leg and a Tome Of Town Portal
inside the Horaidric Cube. Out comes a portal
to the Cow Level.

Gems: If you find a gem pond drop all of your gems except
the one you want upgraded. The more upgraded
it is the more powerful it will be when in a socketed
item. If you have multiple gems on you when you visit the
gem pond a random one is chosen to be upgraded. The order
of the upgrade is:
Chipped becomes Flawed
Flawed becomes Normal
Normal becomes Perfect
Horadic Cube Formulaes
From worst to best they are: chipped, flawed, normal,
flawless, and perfect.

2 quivers of Bolts = 1 quiver of Arrows
1 quiver of Arrows + 1 Spear = 1 bundle of Javelins
1 Axe + 1 Dagger + Stack of Throwing Knives = Stack of

2 Topazes + 1 Ring = Coral Ring (lightning resistance)
1 Ruby + 1 Ring + 4 Exploding Potions = Garnet Ring (fire
resistance)
1 Emerald + 1 Ring + 4 Antidotes = Viridian Ring (poison

1 Sapphire + 1 Ring + 4 Thawing Potions = Cobalt Ring (cold
resistance)
